Tips for SMT

Surface-mount technology (SMT) is a method in which the electrical components are mounted directly onto the surface of a printed circuit board (PCB). SMT component placement systems, commonly called pick-and-place machines or P&Ps, are robotic machines which are used to place SMDs onto a PCB.  

Minew’s new SMT line is made up of SIPLACE TX series (SMT placement machine), for its brand new SIPLACE SpeedStar placement head and SIPLACE Xi intelligent feeder. The electronic products mounted by SIPLACE TX are seamlessly integrated into the product portfolio of ASM factory by enhanced connectivity and functions, deriving from the unique and flexible track system, component feeding and intelligent software of the system.
